The Body Shop - Strawberry Shampoo & Conditioner

April 02, 2018

Hello readers! Hope you're well.

So recently I purchased and tried out some new shampoo and conditioner that was recommended to me due to me having naturally dry hair, since losing most of my hair to bleach damage in 2016 I take good care of what's grown back. These two products were purchased from The Body Shop in their hair care section which you can find either in one of their stores or online at https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/.

Strawberry Shampoo: This is a 400ml bottle of their Clearly Glossing Strawberry Shampoo which comes in a lovely red themed bottle with a picture of the berry on the front, it tells you the hair type its for (in this case dull hair) so you can check it with the type you actually have which is great. The smell is exactly what you'd expect from a berry themed shampoo and the lathers it creates smells equally as berry-like and sweet, it doesn't take much to clean your hair and washes out leaving a pleasant texture and scent. This 400ml bottle was £8.50 but you can buy 250ml for £6.50 and 60ml for £2 so if you wanted to just try this product there are lesser sizes available, then if you enjoy it you can commit to a bigger bottle!

Strawberry Conditioner: This is a 250ml bottle of the conditioner which is very similar to the shampoo in terms of colour, package design, smell and lather but this product goes the extra mile to treat and condition the hair leaving it soft and shiny when it dries. This was £6.50 for the 250ml size and the only other size available for this is 60ml which costs £2 so again if you wanted to test it before committing to a bigger purchase you have that option available.

If I'm completely honest I was surprisingly impressed with this product not only because of the pretty bottles and pleasing scent but the shine and softness it left on my hair which is still here 3 days after washing is lovely! Having never used these products before I wasn't sure what I was expecting but I am really happy with how well they have treated my hair and will definitely buy them again.

  7. This sounds really nice. Not sure how I'd feel about my hair smelling like berries though. It's good that it comes in a variety of sizes so people can test them out before committing to a bigger bottle x

    1. Yeah berry isn't for everyone, maybe their banana range would be more suitable for you! And the sizes are super convenient xx
