I Heart Make Up: Goddess Of Love Highlighter

February 25, 2018

Hello readers, welcome back to my blog!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Goddess of Love highlighter by I Heart Make Up, this is a brand I've really fallen in love with in the last year or so and I haven't purchased a product I didn't love and use regularly. I've reviewed a couple of palettes and a blush from this brand and I also have another palette to review after this! So on to the highlighter...
Goddess of Love
This highlighter retails around £4.99 from Superdrug and is available both in their stores and online on their website. I personally like gold coloured highlighters that give me a nice sunny glow to my skin and this highlighter is the perfect thing for my tastes. The highlighter is a triple baked gold coloured product and comes in this cute love heart shaped box like the other highlighters and blushes I have from this brand. I also love packaging that is pink, heart shaped or girly so this is definitely an interest of mine based off appearance alone.
The highlighter out of its box
As for the actual use I found this highlighter quite subtle and light on my skin which is great for during the day for a more gentle look. It applies easily, doesn't take a massive amount of blending and doesn't leave excess product on your brush so there is no waste. If you want a stronger look I suggest brushing a little extra onto your face and it instantly gives off more shine and glow since the pigmentation is so good!
My other heart shaped products
I would definitely recommend this product to people looking for a quality highlighter with a decent application and smooth colour, this is something I will certainly buy again and I will continue to buy from this brand as they've impressed me so far.
