Blogmas Day 3: What Would I Fill My Stocking With??

December 03, 2017

Hey there readers, we've reached day 3 of my Blogmas schedule and today I thought it'd be nice to share some of the things I would put in my stocking if I were allowed to choose! Obviously I'm super grateful for whatever I get and it is the thought that counts of course but if someone gave me money and said "fill your own stocking cause I have no idea what to get you sorry" here is what I would choose:

1. Nail Varnishes - I love having fierce nails and pretty nail colours; I usually stick on the packs of £1 nails from Primark but sadly what with the gym, working in chemistry and biology labs, swimming and house chores they tend to snap off or chip. The next best thing for me is a pretty bottle of nail varnish and I love subtle nude colours or brightly coloured sparkles the most, its one or the other there is no in between. I love getting little nail kits for Christmas or my birthday so this sort of thing would definitely be popped in my stocking for me to experiment with.
Left: Superdrug £2, Right: Part of a £3 kit from Boots
2. Scented Gifts - As well as gifts that look nice I love things that smell good too. Below is a photo of a small Body Shop soap that smells of pink grapefruit, a bubblegum scented lip scrub and a candy scented bubble bar, all with their own aroma that is extremely appealing to me. I know shower gels, deodorants and perfumes are a common gift to girls at Christmas time as much as socks and Lynx sets are to boys but I actually love getting those things!
Bubblegum Lip Scrub: Lush £5.95, Magic Wand Bubble Bar: Lush £5.95, Soap: The Body Shop £2
3. A lipstick or lip gloss - Next to having fierce nails I always love having a fierce pair of lips on me when I go out; no matter what the colour is if it suits my lips (and is cruelty free) I will wear it! For casual days I opt for nude or browns but when I feel like being dramatic I usually look like Cheryl from Riverdale who tends to go for the bright red colours to stand out.
Elf Wine Tour Lipstick: £4.50
4. A new phone case - These days there are as many phone case designs as there are handbags and shoes and I love having a pretty case on my phone that both protects it from damage but also makes it look super cute. At the moment I'm using the Lady Gaga case pictured on the right which was a gift from my Boyfriend but I also enjoy the fun animal themed cases like the owl case pictured on the left.

5. A bath bomb or bubble bar - I personally love bath bombs and bath products,m particularly by Lush so if someone slipped one of Lush's Christmas releases into my stocking I would be one happy bunny! Of course by now I'm that used to the smell I would notice it right away but I would still be extremely happy and excited that someone went out and chose one of my favourite brands to pop in my stocking this year.

What would you put in your stocking if you could choose? Let me know! Thanks for reading and I'll see you all tomorrow with Blogmas Day 4: A Christmas Questionnaire!
