> Chic - Its All Zara

April 28, 2017

Those of you who have read my past perfume posts will know that I have found some really lovely fragrances in the past and I'm always on the lookout for more to add to my collection. You can find my post about my favourite fragrances HERE and my last perfume review post HERE! I will keep nosing out for more to write about.

This one is called "Chic" and it was £5 from The Factory Shop which is where most of my others have come from:

As you can see the bottle is quite extravagant with a rather fancy lid that resembles a twisted knot. The theme of this perfume seems to be gold, with a gold and white box, golden bottle and even golden liquid inside. I think it is a really pretty looking fragrance and its definitely one of my favourites purely based on appearance.

When placed next to these two perfumes the gold theme goes so well together and Chic definitely fits in with the rest of my collection. It is quite big as well so I feel like I got a good value for money, although I think the lid is 75% of its size because when you take it off it looks like a regular sized bottle.

In terms of scent this has a really fresh and graceful sort of smell that lingers for a long time after spraying it on which is a great quality in a fragrance because no one likes a scent that wears off within an hour or so. I do think this is a bit overwhelming for a day to day wear though due to it being quite rich and musky so I would save this for a night out or a date.

Overall I would give this a good 8/10, it would be a 10/10 if it weren't for the heavy hitting scent that some may find a bit overbearing. The words I would use to describe this perfume would be; sweet, rich, fresh and floral. If those appeal to you then see if you can grab a bottle!
